Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) and Vyv Webinar

HANYS Vyv Webinar Presentation

Vyv has partnered with HANYS to advance a new approach to infection control and prevention by creating interior environments continuously inhospitable to organisms through Vyv’s white antimicrobial light technology. These LED lighting fixtures create unique environments inhospitable to the growth and survival of microbes (bacteria, viruses, endospores, fungi and yeast). Vyv works continuously, dosing surfaces with antimicrobial action non-stop 24/7, while providing high-quality white light for fully occupied spaces.

Join our panel of experts as they discuss the coming environmental wellness changes to our healthcare facilities during this complimentary webinar. Joining Vyv’s co-founder and CEO, Colleen Costello, our panelists include a large healthcare system, a regional hospital and a university sports health center.

*Testing on a non-enveloped virus (MS2 bacteriophage) showed a 97.12% reduction in controlled laboratory testing in 8 hours on hard surfaces. Testing on SARS-CoV-2 (enveloped virus) showed a 96.76% reduction in controlled laboratory testing in 8 hours on hard surfaces. Testing on MRSA and E. coli showed 90%+ reduction in controlled laboratory testing in 24 hours on hard surfaces. Results may vary depending on the amount of light that is reaching the surfaces in the space where the product is installed and the length of time of exposure. Use of Vyv antimicrobial light is not intended to replace manual cleaning and disinfection practices.
